Most women's magazines are just out to make money by making you feel inadequate and selling you products to fix yourself. So many of them are centered around weight loss and how you can get that unattainable idealized model body. I decided to re-do a cover of Self magazine, one of the worst women's mags out there in my opinion (besides tabloids). It's basically a weight-loss magazine. The "Body Confidence" section is a joke seeing as the rest its pages and advertisements are pretty good at taking away that confidence! And that's pretty much what they aim to do.
One way to improve your body image and self-esteem: stop reading these mags. Just accept your body as it is right now because you look fine! AND you are so much more than your size or appearance!!

The Nu Project
The Nu Project is a series of honest nudes of women from all over the world. The project began in 2005 and has stayed true to the original vision: no professional models, minimal makeup and no glamour. The focus of the project has been and continues to be the subjects and their personalities, spaces, insecurities and quirks.
To date, over 150 women across North and South America have participated in the project. Without their courage, confidence and trust, none of this would have been possible. We are so thankful for their willingness to open their homes to us.
